"Pray" opens with solemn reverence before "Malicious" drops you into the thick of combat with urgent strings and percussion that never lets up. "Abandoned Library" carries this haunted grandeur that fits the game's crumbling fantasy world perfectly.
"Foughten Field" and "Garrison Of The Empire" deliver the battle intensity you need when every encounter is basically a boss fight. "The Hades" goes full underworld menace, while "Abhorrent Altar" builds dread with layers of dissonance.
The two-part "Wheeled Citadel" tracks for Inner and Outer Ward show real compositional ambition, telling the story of a single location from different angles. "Return To Serenity" and "Solitude" give you breathing room with genuinely beautiful quiet moments before "Pursuit Of The Malicious" and "Boundary Of The Void" pull you back into darkness.
"Demise" closes everything out with the kind of finality that makes you sit with the credits. An underappreciated PS4 action game with an equally underappreciated score.
