through "Chukyu Fight!" and up to "Jokyu Fight!", each tier ratcheting up the intensity in a way that makes the combat system feel genuinely thrilling. The dungeon theme "GUILTY REQUIEM" is a standout, dripping with atmosphere that feels almost too epic for the game it lives in.
What really sets this soundtrack apart is the collection of remix tracks in the back half. Hearing familiar Leaf vocal songs reimagined as battle music is a blast -- "HAPPY SUNNY STREET One step from winning Mix" turns a sunny pop number into a competitive anthem, while "ACROSS THE SEVEN SEAS Reversal attack Mix" channels its source material into something urgent and driving.
"Remains of Ancient Days Psychological warfare Mix" is probably the most dramatic recontextualization of the bunch, stripping away nostalgia and replacing it with tension. The original compositions hold their own too, with "Gears Of Fate" and "Breakthrough The Destiny" providing suitably dramatic moments for the game's storyline.
"Wheel Of Fortune" carries that signature Leaf melodic sensibility, and "The Light Of The Future" closes things out on a hopeful note. It's a compact soundtrack that punches well above its weight, especially for fans who followed the Amusement Soft series through all five volumes.
