2025 · Playstation 5, Switch, Windows, Xbox Series X/S

The track listing reads like a story in itself -- from the ominous "Prelude" and "Bad Omen" through to "Victory" and "End of an Era," you can trace the entire journey without ever touching the game. "Tear on the Fabric of Reality" is an early highlight, introducing dissonant textures that signal something deeply wrong in the world of Mandragora.

The boss themes are where the score really comes alive. "Lord of Braer Castle" carries the weight of a classic gothic confrontation, while "Entropic Leviathan" goes massive with the kind of overwhelming scale you want from a sea-creature boss fight.

"Corrupted Wyrm" brings draconic menace, and "The Dark Witch" -- presumably the climactic encounter -- delivers an appropriately sinister and complex piece that ties back to the game's central mythology around the titular Witch Tree.

The environmental tracks do strong worldbuilding work. "Braer Island" establishes a sense of place that grounds the fantasy setting, "The Undermoon Sea" creates an eerie aquatic atmosphere, and "Gloomroot Woods" is exactly as foreboding as the name suggests.

"Sunrise" and "The Tome Mistress" offer brief respites of beauty and wonder amid the darkness. The emotional payoff of "Betrayal" leading into "Those Who Came Before" and finally "The Archmage" builds to a climax that makes "Victory" feel genuinely earned when it arrives.
