The whole thing feels like a love letter to action anime OSTs from the early 2000s. "Resurrection Dance" and "Action" crank the energy to breakneck levels, matching the over-the-top fight choreography that made Marco's cutscenes go viral.
"Inside of Nudo's body" takes a weird turn into something squelchy and unsettling, because of course this game would have a track for literally being inside a creature. "VS" and "The last battle" bring the heat for the climactic showdowns.
Then there's "Recalling the memory" and "All's well that ends," pulling things back to something genuinely tender. For a game built on absurd comedy and explosive action, the quieter emotional moments hit surprisingly hard.
The short version of Marco's theme at the end is a nice bookend, like credits rolling on a favorite episode.
