The track names alone tell you how much personality is packed in here. "The Ballad of Plungerhands McMurdy" is exactly the kind of gloriously absurd title that defines the Mario + Rabbids series, while "A Fistful of Bravados" tips its hat to spaghetti westerns.
The seafaring adventure tracks like "Anchors Aweigh!" and "Tentacles of the Sea" expand the series' sonic palette into nautical territory, and "Mummers and Troubadours" adds theatrical flair that bridges the gap between exploration and combat.
The return of the Phantom is the headline event here, and the composers clearly relished the chance to bring back the fan-favorite operatic Rabbid. "Phantom Returns, Act 1 - Overture" builds anticipation beautifully before "Phantom, Razzmatazz" and the absolutely unhinged "Phantom, Metal Mayhem" take the character in directions nobody expected.
Meanwhile, tracks like "Mecha King Bob-omb Blast" and "Golem's Gnarly Fight" deliver the tactical combat intensity that made the base game's battles so satisfying to play and listen to.
