"Bad Luck" kicks things off with Black Cat's return, carrying a slinky, noir-tinged energy that perfectly captures Felicia Hardy's morally ambiguous presence. There's a playfulness in the orchestration that mirrors the flirtatious cat-and-mouse dynamic between her and Peter.
"Laying Down the Hammer" is the standout action cue, delivering the kind of thunderous, propulsive scoring that made the base game's combat feel so exhilarating. It matches the Hammerhead storyline's escalation from street-level mob war to full-on armored supervillain confrontation.
"No Other Choice" carries real dramatic tension, scoring those moments where Peter's pushed to his limits and the stakes feel genuinely personal rather than just another villain-of-the-week scenario. The EP's emotional bookends work beautifully together.
"The Sacrifice" hints at the cost of Peter's double life -- a theme the base game explored so effectively -- while "Restoring Order" closes things out with a sense of hard-won resolution. Paesano maintains perfect continuity with the main game's sound while giving each DLC chapter its own flavor.
It's a lean, well-crafted epilogue to one of the best superhero game soundtracks ever composed, and "Web Launch" alone is worth the listen for its pure kinetic swing-through-the-city energy.
