The "Main Title Theme" establishes a cinematic Marvel tone right away, and the three-part "Battlefield" suite covering "The Mobilization," "The Momentum," and "The Finale" does a genuinely impressive job of scoring the escalating intensity of a MOBA match from laning phase to team fights to final pushes.
The thematic tracks tied to Marvel properties show real attention to the source material. "The Black Widows" and "The Red Room" form a natural pair, evoking espionage tension and the dark legacy of the Russian assassin program.
"Return of the Eternals" aims for ancient cosmic grandeur, fitting for Jack Kirby's immortal creations. "Winter in Wakanda" is a particularly evocative piece that blends the technological Afrofuturism of the Black Panther mythos with something colder and more melancholy, likely referencing the Winter Soldier's time in Wakandan exile.
The Asia-focused tracks are an unexpected highlight. "Tiger and Moon" and "Agents of Atlas" lean into the game's strong Asian market presence, incorporating Eastern musical elements that give these tracks a flavor distinct from most Marvel media soundtracks.
"Master of Kung Fu" channels Shang-Chi's martial arts legacy with appropriate intensity. "Calm Before Battle" serves as effective ambient tension-building, and "Spring Into Action" has that burst-of-energy quality perfect for a seasonal event.
"The Immortals" rounds things out with mythology-steeped drama. It's a shame the game didn't last longer, because this music deserved a bigger audience.
