Cybuster" is THE theme, the hot-blooded super robot anthem for Masaki Andoh's wind-elemental Masouki that fans have been humming since the original Super Famicom game. "THE LORD OF ELEMENTAL" carries the weight of the original 1996 title, and hearing it remastered for PS3/PSP is a treat.
The elemental motifs run deep through the tracklist. "Fire Awakening" and "Chinese Gym Teacher of Flame" cover the fire elemental pilots with appropriately intense energy, "From the Land of Water and Swamps" and "Ocean of Determination" bring the water faction's themes, and "Awakening Earth" grounds the earth elemental with heavier tones.
"Presia of the Spring Breeze" is a standout character theme, delicate and melodic in a way that contrasts beautifully with the bombastic mecha combat tracks. The villain themes go hard. "Dark Prison" appears in two versions and both nail that menacing SRW antagonist energy, "Dark Swordsman" is brooding and dangerous, and "Zero Resistance" brings the kind of defiant intensity that makes boss battles memorable.
"Lone Fang" and "Elegant Gentleman" round out the character roster with personality-driven compositions. This is a love letter to one of the most niche but beloved corners of the Super Robot Wars universe.
