MAXXXBURNING!!!! is the kind of over-the-top, exclamation-point-heavy arcade soundtrack that lives and dies by sheer intensity, and it absolutely thrives. This 2014 collection is tied to the rhythm game scene, packed with high-BPM bangers designed to push players to their physical and mental limits.

"Ignitestar" and "Ultranova" are exactly as explosive as their names suggest, layering pounding kicks over screaming synth leads that feel like they're trying to break the sound barrier. The tracklist reads like a who's-who of doujin and arcade music energy.
"Creutz=Wilknare" brings a dark, driving intensity, while "Asterism Stream" channels that classic Konami-style progressive trance that rhythm game fans live for. The title track "Max Burning!!" gets a gloriously excessive "2014 Update XXXtended!!!!"
version that stretches the chaos out even further. The xi remix of "Empty Skydiving" takes the original and cranks it into frantic, note-dense territory perfect for expert-level play. The Japanese-titled tracks add welcome variety to the set.
"凛々撫子HeartilY" brings a more melodic, vocal-driven approach that contrasts nicely with the relentless instrumental assault elsewhere, and "SHIROGANE ROCKET" closes the album on a high note with a soaring, anthemic feel. "INNOVATiONARY X-PLOSiON -Full AXEL-" is just pure unhinged arcade maximalism.
If your heart rate isn't elevated by the end of this soundtrack, check your pulse.
