"Liquid Negrocity" goes full dark ambient, this thick, suffocating texture that creeps along underneath barely audible melodic fragments. Then "Knives and Ivory" snaps back to tight, percussive jazz with an edge that feels almost threatening.
The album bounces between legitimate jazz chops and stranger, more experimental detours without ever losing its card-shark cool. Homestuck adjacent or not, if you like noir atmosphere with teeth, this collection delivers.
