A Half-Life 2 mod soundtrack that carries way more atmosphere than four tracks should be able to hold. "Absconditus" opens with this low, brooding tension that immediately tells you something is wrong with wherever you are.

The whole score leans into that Source engine era of moody environmental storytelling, where the music doesn't play constantly but when it does, it redefines the space around you. "Duco Ergo Sum" hits with surprising force for a mod that most people discovered through word of mouth.

"Omnia" and "Liberalitas" fill in the quieter spaces with ambient dread that sits just under your awareness. Four tracks, all doing exactly what they need to. If you played through Minerva without the sound on, you experienced maybe half the game.
