PC-88 FM synthesis doing what it does best, making emotions hit harder than they have any right to through a sound chip. "Misty Blue" itself is a gorgeous piece of chiptune balladry. "Hold Me Tonight" and "I Wanna Close to You" lean into that late-80s Japanese computer romance energy, all warm pads and melodic leads.

"Broken Beats" has more rhythmic drive, a nice contrast to the softer material. "Dancing Heart" gets genuinely upbeat and fun. The unreleased megamix tracks at the end are fascinating curios. Even the alternate version of the opening shows how much mileage they got from this hardware.
If you love the PC-88 sound and haven't heard this one yet, you're in for something special.
