Hot-blooded Super Robot Wars spinoff energy crammed into a Nintendo DS and refusing to stay contained. Mugen no Frontier and its sequel EXCEED pack this complete soundtrack with track names that read like battle cries. Character themes steal the show though. "BOMBER GIRL!" and "I Am the Elusive Koma!" have so much personality baked into the composition. "Just a Little Tea Time" and "A Mirage Called Tranquility" prove the soundtrack knows when to breathe between all the shouting.
Those quiet pockets matter. If you love the Super Robot Wars extended universe and want two full DS RPG soundtracks in one package, this collection goes hard.
