Rapid Racer's "Golden Sands, Miami" kicks off with bright, upbeat drum and bass energy, "Glacier Bay, Alaska" cools things down with ambient textures over breakbeats, and "Lava Trail, Hawaii" pushes into heavier territory with distorted synth layers.
The Electro Glide tracks are a different beast entirely. "Raw Power" and "Krupa" lean into abstract, experimental electronic territory. More art installation than racing game. These are 45-second extraits too, basically teasers.
The whole compilation feels like a time capsule of Sony trying to position PlayStation as the cool, club-friendly console. If you collect obscure PS1 soundtracks and love that mid-90s European electronic scene, this is a fascinating artifact from the era.
