Nano Assault EX is another Shin'en joint and they squeezed serious production value into this microscopic shooter's score. "Chaos" lives up to its name with layered distortion and frantic tempo changes that match dodging through cellular structures at high speed.

"See the stars burn" opens up into something more expansive, these wide pads and melodic leads that give you a second to breathe between stages. "Virus breakout" just goes hard with relentless percussion. The way the soundtrack shifts between clinical sci-fi tension on "Nanopedia" and full aggression is really well paced.
