Gorgeous Transylvanian folk-infused fantasy scoring that makes you want to enroll in a magic school immediately. Near-Mage is a 2025 RPG set in Romania and every character theme feels like a portrait in sound. "Welcome to Sighisoara" establishes this rich Eastern European atmosphere right away, then "The Transylvanian Institute for Magick" builds on it with academic grandeur that reminds me of early Potter games but more grounded.

"The Bridge of Lies" has this tension that just creeps in slowly. The character themes are the real standout though, Haralamb's and Gavril's especially tell you so much about who these people are without a word. "Cemetery Gates" gets genuinely eerie.
If you love RPGs where every location has its own musical identity, this soundtrack is enormous and deeply committed to world-building.
