Koopa Troopa Beach has that lazy tropical groove that makes you forget you're in a race, and Banshee Boardwalk flips into this creepy, haunted atmosphere that still catches people off guard. Choco Mountain though. Something about those compressed N64 samples hitting with that specific reverb just does it for me.
The sound quality has that signature N64 crunch, slightly muddy but full of character that clean recordings can't replicate. If you grew up with four controllers plugged in and friendships on the line, you already know every note here.
