Ben Crossbones nailed the vibe on Organ Trail's soundtrack by making chiptune feel genuinely unsettling. It's Oregon Trail but zombies, and the music commits to that bit completely. "Patient Zero" opens with these low buzzing synths that immediately tell you everything's already gone wrong.

"Highways and Headstones" has this plodding 8-bit bassline that sounds like dragging yourself down an empty interstate. Then "Everyone I Love is Dead" hits and it's somehow both catchy and devastating. The track names alone tell a whole story.
"Promise Me You Won't Die" into "You've Doomed Us All." Just brutal. If you ever rage-quit because dysentery killed your whole party, this soundtrack gets it.
