This whole soundtrack is built around the idea of hearing the same spaces through different timelines, and it actually works. "Can't Stop" splits into Present, Past, and Future versions that each recontextualize the same melodic material with totally different tonal weight.

"Eternal Caverns" does the same trick but darker, letting you hear how a location decays or thrives depending on when you visit it. "Gunbearer" has this tense, propulsive energy that contrasts nicely with the more contemplative "Sundial."
The temporal gimmick could've been lazy but the compositions genuinely shift in feel, not just instrumentation. "Nobuko" closes things out with something unexpectedly tender. If you like soundtracks that play with structure as a storytelling device, this one rewards close listening.
