"MAZE OF LIFE" opens this thing with so much confidence it's almost rude. Persona Q takes the Etrian Odyssey dungeon crawler format and the soundtrack splits the difference between both series perfectly. The labyrinth themes like "You in Wonderland" and "Group Date Cafe" have this playful tension that keeps dungeon crawling from getting stale.

"Laser Beam" is an F.O.E. encounter track that genuinely spikes your adrenaline on a 3DS. The "in the labyrinth" remixes of classic Persona tracks ("JOY," "Paulownia Mall") feel like memories filtered through a strange dream.
Then "Light the Fire Up in the Night" during Dark Hour segments... yeah. If you wrote this off as a spinoff, the soundtrack alone proves that wrong.
