PQ2 sounds way bigger than a 3DS game has any right to. The whole thing runs on this cinematic pop-rock energy, and "Pull the Trigger" immediately sets the tone with punchy vocals over driving percussion. "Road Less Taken" carries that same Persona battle DNA but filtered through this movie theater motif that actually works.

"Welcome to Kamo City" and "Town of Credulity" build out surprisingly dense atmospheric pieces for a crossover spinoff. The quieter moments land too. "Only Two in the Audience" is tender without being corny, and "Cinematic Tale -Solo-" strips everything back beautifully.
Even the "Popcorn" interstitial has personality. If you skipped this because it's a spinoff, the soundtrack alone argues against that decision.
