PERSONA2 ETERNAL PUNISHMENT. SPECIAL SOUND TRACK

2012 · PSP

Taku Takahashi and the Atlus sound team took the original PS1 Eternal Punishment score and gave it a proper PSP-era polish. The rearranges here are the real draw. Shoji Meguro's rearrange of "Parabellum II" keeps the tension but adds modern production grit, while Atsushi Kitajoh's take on "Maya's Theme" softens the edges into something warmer without losing the melody.

"Jolly Roger" gets a surprisingly funky Kitajoh remix too. The new compositions like "Combat" and "Sumaru Castle" slot in naturally alongside the returning tracks. "Velvet Room Nameless Arrange" is a gorgeous reinterpretation that lingers.

If you played the PSP port and never grabbed this disc, you're missing some of the best rearrangement work Atlus has done.
