FES added The Answer, and Meguro matched that epilogue's bleaker tone perfectly. "Heartful Cry" is the centerpiece, this aching guitar-driven track that carries all the grief the story demands. "The Abyss of Time" builds dread out of ambient layers, and the "Mass Destruction -P3fes version-" rework gives the battle theme a slightly rougher edge.

Pulling in "Snow Queen's Theme" and "Maya's Theme" from Persona 1 as callbacks was a clever touch. "Brand New Days" closes things with cautious hope. The whole disc is only 17 tracks but every one earns its spot. "Darkness" sitting right before the finale does exactly what the title promises.
Short, focused, and heavier than the base game's soundtrack. Worth hearing even if you never touched The Answer.
