Shoji Meguro and Lyn Inaizumi came back for Royal and somehow made acid jazz even cooler. "Take Over" replaces the old ambush theme with this ridiculously confident funk track that makes every battle feel like a heist movie.

"No More What Ifs" is the standout, a bossa nova vocal piece that plays during quiet evenings and hits way harder emotionally than it has any right to. The layered Mementos tracks (Upper, Medium, Lower Class) add piano and vocals as you descend, turning a dungeon grind into something genuinely atmospheric.
"Throw Away Your Mask" goes full dramatic rock ballad for the final boss. If you played vanilla P5 and skipped Royal, this soundtrack alone justifies the revisit.
