This sixth Song Festival entry goes darker than any previous volume, and it works. "極夜の亡霊 -ファントム-" (Phantom) leans into theatrical J-rock with this restless energy that keeps building, while "灰ノ蝶" floats on something more melancholic and delicate.

The prologue and epilogue tracks frame everything like a stage play, which is kind of the whole point of these character song CDs. "茗華艶宴" is the standout for me, dripping with attitude and this almost cabaret-style flair.
"心ふたつ" pulls back into genuine softness. Two hearts, one song, real vulnerability. The contrast across this tracklist is wild. If you've been sleeping on the PSO2 vocal albums, this is a strong entry point.
