Ten tracks that feel twice as long as they are, in the best way possible. Kobayashi, Kumatani, and Tokoi wrote music for Episode IV that shifts between lonely exploration and full-tilt boss panic. "Nostalgia in Solitude" (both parts) carries this aching, melodic quality that quotes Phantasy Star III's main theme, a callback that hits different if you catch it.

"Underworld -chaos-" is exactly what it promises. "IDOLA The Fanatic Viper" goes absolutely feral with distorted synths and aggressive rhythms over what should be a PC expansion pack final boss. "Meteor Strike!" opens the disc like a starting pistol.
