Takeshi Abo (yes, the Steins;Gate composer) writing character themes for an anime fighting game, and it goes harder than you'd expect. Every fighter gets their own personality in sound. "Catharsis of the Fist" is all aggression and crunchy guitar riffs for Ren, while "Maho Maho Step Up" leans into bubbly J-pop energy for Mei without feeling like a joke.

"Schrodinger's Cat" for Fin has that signature Abo tension, science fiction bleeding into every note. "Infinite Howling" just rips. The whole thing plays like a 2011 Xbox 360 arcade cabinet that never left Akihabara. Character select music that actually makes you sit on the screen a little longer.
