"Demons Party" is infectious in that distinctly Nippon Ichi way, all bouncy brass and attitude. "I Am a Boss!" is peak self-aware Disgaea-adjacent absurdity. Then "Cold Rain" and "Sadness" pull you into something quieter, almost melancholy.
The tonal whiplash is the whole point. If you've ever thrown a building at someone in this game, you already hear this music in your sleep.
