Headcannon (yes, the Sonic Mania people) made a quirky horizontal shmup about chasing a crab who stole a pearl, and Michael Staple scored it like a Saturday morning cartoon with teeth. "Crustacean Station" sets the tone with this bouncy, energetic stage theme that fits the sea-life pixel art perfectly.

"Laminar Grotto" goes darker as you head underground. "The Clawdaddy" is ridiculous boss music in the best way. The final boss tracks ("Tony" and its Pinch Mode reprise) escalate with real urgency. Only 13 tracks but they cover a full arc from breezy to intense.
"Just Say No" over the credits is a fun sendoff. Short, punchy, and way more personality than most indie shmup soundtracks bother with.
