The original 1995 release of Kojima's space noir score, and it's fascinating hearing these compositions in their first form. The FM synth on the PC-98 gives everything this slightly rougher, more immediate texture. "Criminal Investigation Part 1" hits harder here, rawer and more urgent.

"Embarrassment ~Murder~ Shoot for Angels" is a wild emotional rollercoaster packed into one track title and somehow the music delivers on all of it. "Dear My Friend" carries real warmth through the hardware limitations. "Living in the Real World" has this forward momentum that pulls you through the story.
The whole score treats space colonization like a detective novel. For Kojima completionists who want to hear where Metal Gear's cinematic ambitions started taking shape.
