Early tracks run on bright, simple melodies that feel like Saturday morning cartoons filtered through PS1/Saturn sound chips. By "16 Year-Old Rendezvous" things get warmer, more melodically complex. "17 Year-Old Maid Detective" sneaks in some playful tension.
The prologue ("I Want to Become Human") and epilogue ("Every Girl is a Princess") frame everything with this gentle sentimentality that doesn't overstay its welcome. Something about the pacing just... works. Worth it if you want a soundtrack that tells a whole life in eleven tracks.
