"In the Name of Strikers" sets the tone immediately with military bravado cranked through arcade speakers. The random stage system means tracks like "Sky Stage" and "Sea Stage" had to work in any order, and they all stand on their own.

Boss themes escalate perfectly, from the mid-tier tension of "Boss 1" through to the full-throttle "F.G.R. mkII" final confrontation. That SNK Neo Geo sound chip doing real work. Essential if vertical shooters are your thing.
