The sequel soundtrack cranks everything up. Where the original Psychic Force had bright, poppy character themes, 2012 pushes into darker, more aggressive territory. "Dirty honey bee" (Regina's theme) has this venomous groove, all attitude.

"The man in the dark" for Setsuna is appropriately brooding, layered synths over a slow burn. The demo BGMs between fights ("Warp Retreat," "To the End of Battle," "The Interstices of Time") build narrative tension that the arcade format barely gives you time to absorb.
"Time of Decision" as Emilio's second theme hits harder than his first, like the character leveled up and the music followed. "Holy Mother" trailing off at the end... For anyone who thought 90s arcade fighters peaked at Street Fighter music, Taito was doing something different here.
