"The Eastern Forest" opens with warm strings and a wandering melody that genuinely makes you want to see what's over the next hill. "Grim Pass" drops into minor key tension with low brass rumbling underneath. "Tanglewood Marsh" sits in this murky, unsettled space.
Really effective mood piece. The Shadowlands theme itself goes full dramatic with choir-adjacent pads and building percussion. Sixteen tracks that cover a surprising range of environments without ever feeling phoned in. Solid pick for anyone who loves fantasy ambient with actual composition behind it.
