Resonance Original Soundtrack

2013 · Linux, MacOS, Windows

Nikolas Sideris wrote a score for Resonance that sounds way too sophisticated for a pixel-art point-and-click, and I mean that as the highest compliment. "Eds' Jazz" is smooth and lived-in like a late-night bar scene, while "of Fire And Death" rips that comfort away with urgent strings. "Pumped-Up Supercollider" takes an already tense theme and dials it to eleven. The quiet devastation of "Sad Juno" just lingers.

Louiza Sofianopoulou's vocals on "I Will Be There" close things out with real tenderness. Essential listening for adventure game fans who care about atmosphere.
