Ethereal late-'80s synth balladry wrapped in CLAMP's mythological drama. RG Veda's music compilation draws from the manga and OVA adaptation, blending vocal tracks with atmospheric instrumentals in that distinctly early '90s anime way.
"Dou Tomoshibi" opens with soaring vocals over shimmering synth pads, while "Ashura" drops into darker orchestral territory with taiko-influenced percussion and brooding strings. "Hotarubi" is the standout, a delicate ballad where the vocal melody floats over minimal accompaniment like candlelight.
The instrumental tracks lean into new age textures that feel appropriately ancient and cosmic. If you grew up on CLAMP's tragic fantasy worlds, this soundtrack is basically bottled nostalgia with a synthesizer.
