"A Love Suicide" is this hauntingly beautiful waltz that gets a crackling 1930s radio edit, perfectly matching the game's pre-war English orphanage setting. "Piano Etude I" builds quiet dread with sparse, deliberate notes and long silences between phrases.
The ambient string pieces labeled "quiet," "unpleasant," and "fear" do exactly what they promise, each one tightening the atmosphere another notch. "Bullying" and "Ressentiment" capture childhood cruelty through unsettling melodic fragments.
