Jeff Williams went darker with Volume 4 and it shows in every track. RWBY's fourth season score reflects the scattered, heavier tone after the fall of Beacon, and the vocal tracks go even harder. "This Life is Mine" is Weiss at her most defiant, Casey Lee Williams absolutely belting over strings and electric guitar.

"Armed and Ready" is Yang's comeback anthem with this grinding rock edge that builds into pure catharsis. The chapter scores carry so much emotional weight on their own. "Like Morning Follows Night" does this thing where the harmonies just ache.
Even "Bmblb" hits different in context. If you watched Volume 4 and never listened to this separate from the show, the score work alone will surprise you.
