SAKIGAKE!! CROMARTIE HIGH★SCHOOL ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK 2

2004 · Anime

The sequel soundtrack that doubles down on treating absurd comedy with complete musical sincerity. Cromartie High School's second OST keeps the deadpan energy going with even weirder compositional choices. "Square Moon" gets a full vocal version that turns a background piece into something genuinely beautiful, and "The Earthworms" as a vocal track is exactly as bizarre as a song about earthworms should be.

"Troy" goes dramatic in a way that makes zero sense for a show about dumb high school delinquents and that's the whole point. The bridge tracks stitching everything together like connective tissue. If the first Cromartie soundtrack convinced you the music was secretly the best part of the show, this second volume proves it wasn't a fluke.
