The boss themes share instrumentation but crank the intensity, Stage 3,7 Boss especially has this urgent, climbing progression that doesn't let up. Stage 5 shifts into a moodier territory with darker chord choices. Even the unused tracks are worth hearing, you can tell there was more planned.
