"Auburn Thicket" has this layered woodwind-and-synth texture that makes exploration feel dense and alive. "Is This Blood Thine or the Enemy's" goes hard with driving rhythms and sharp melodic hooks during combat. "Waltz of the Red Lion" pulls back into something almost elegant, strings dancing over a mid-tempo groove.
The town themes carry real warmth between all the danger. If you played either Etrian Odyssey or Mystery Dungeon and wondered what a crossover would sound like, it sounds better than you'd guess.
