"SK-Volcano" rumbles with this urgent intensity while "雪の砂漠" (Snow Desert) flips the mood into something cold and lonely. The battle themes go hard for early 2000s PC synth, especially "SK-Battle 2" which layers percussion in ways that make you lean forward.
"臥竜の煉獄" gets progressively darker as you descend floors. Just raw atmosphere stacked on atmosphere. If you grew up on Japanese PC roguelikes, this is pure comfort food with teeth.
