"Kat's Song" has Laura Ellis doing this sultry vocal thing that sounds like it belongs in a dim speakeasy with velvet curtains. "House On Fire" cranks the energy with brass that feels genuinely dangerous. Then you get "Late Night Drinks" and "Softly" pulling you into these quieter corners where the piano just floats.
