"Flow of the Lijian River" captures this peaceful rural China atmosphere that the third game leaned into hard. "Shenhua's Poem" is so tender it almost hurts. Then "Revenge" and "Reap the Whirlwind" snap you back into the martial arts intensity.
"Halcyon Days" and "Mother's Cooking" have this warm domestic quality that grounds everything. The inclusion of classic "Sedge Tree" and "Sedge Flower" arrangements ties it all together. If you backed Shenmue III and never opened this, you're sitting on 21 tracks of genuine emotional weight.
