Sharp, tense orchestral writing that shifts between traditional Japanese instrumentation and these almost theatrical Western arrangements. Shiden ~Enkan no Kizuna~ is a visual novel with a massive 42-track score that refuses to stay in one lane.
The opening "天国ト地獄ノ譚詩曲" sets up this heaven-and-hell duality right away. Then you get "L'Autre Valse d'lailah" dropping a French waltz into the middle of everything, and somehow it fits. "Recklessness" hits different, all raw energy.
The quieter moments like "名残の雲" carry so much weight. There's a real sense of storytelling just in how the tracks are sequenced. Visual novel fans who care about atmosphere over action will want to sit with this one.
