Shoji Meguro wrote a battle theme for fighting Dante from Devil May Cry inside an SMT game and it absolutely rips. The Nocturne Maniax extra soundtrack covers all the content added in the expanded edition, and the Labyrinth of Amala tracks are some of the most oppressive dungeon music on PS2.

SHOWTIME goes full aggressive rock energy. The Fiend theme carries this dread because you know what's coming when it plays. Metatron and Beelzebub get their own boss themes that feel appropriately cosmic in scale. Supreme Ruler of Darkness closing out the album with that final confrontation energy.
If you beat Nocturne but never went through the Labyrinth, you missed some of Meguro's most intense work.
