Yuzo Koshiro came back for Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold and somehow topped himself. The Fafnir Knight soundtrack hits with this orchestral-meets-synth intensity that the 3DS speakers barely contain. Primitive Jungle has that classic Etrian pulse, rhythmic and tense, keeping you on edge through every random encounter.

Frozen Grounds shifts the mood completely into something cold and lonely, the kind of track that makes you pause before entering the next room. Scarlet Rain is just relentless. Blood and Darkness works as a scene-setter in ways most RPG cutscene music never manages.
Petal Bridge though. That one's gorgeous, cherry blossom vibes woven into the melody itself. If you played the original EO2 and thought it couldn't get better, Koshiro took that as a challenge.
