"Together with the Light" opens with this warm, building theme that keeps coming back in different arrangements across the whole album. Then "Battle Between Light and Darkness" flips everything intense with layered percussion and urgent orchestral stabs.
"A Warrior's Last Moments" is genuinely devastating. Just strings and silence doing all the heavy lifting. The light-and-dark motif runs through basically every track and it never gets old. If you played any Shining game on PS2, this is the score you forgot was carrying every cutscene.
