Three whole CDs of mood whiplash from Littlewitch and it works every time. Shirotsume Souwa's COLORS soundtrack has this split personality where "Insanity" and "Scared Soul" pull you into genuine psychological horror territory, then "Springtime" and "Holiday" flip the lights back on like nothing happened.
"escape" gets three different versions including a trance remix that honestly goes harder than it has any right to. The character themes all feel distinct too. Ellen's track is fragile and careful, while Touka's has more edge.
The vocal tracks by YUMI and Erina Nakajima tie the whole package together with that early-2000s VN vocal style. If you want a Dreamcast-era visual novel soundtrack that covers every emotion across forty-plus tracks, this is the one to dig into.
