Jerry Martin absolutely locked in on SimCity 4 with this blend of jazz, funk, and electronic that still sounds fresh twenty years later. "Bohemian Street Jam" has this loose, funky groove with electric piano and a rhythm section that makes laying down water pipes feel artful.

"Transit Angst" shifts into something more anxious and driving, percussion-heavy, perfect for when your traffic simulation is falling apart. "Night Owl" closes things out with this late-night cool that might be the most relaxed track Martin ever wrote for the series.
The whole soundtrack walks this line between productive focus music and actual enjoyable listening, which is rare for sim games. If SimCity 4 is still your favorite city builder, this score is a big reason why.
